Polysystem-FS uses advanced computer processing methods for electrophysiological signals and provides extensive capabilities for analysis, graphical visualization and storage of acquired data, as well as study workflow automation.
Polysystem-FS is a universal electrocardiographic system for a range of functional and pharmacological tests, including exercise testing on different types of bicycle ergometers, treadmill testing, stress echocardiography, orthostatic testing and static exercise testing.
During a study, Polysystem-FS supports both modern wireless and conventional wired transmission of 12-lead ECG data. Wireless transmission uses digital radio communication and a compact 12-channel telemetry ECG recorder.
The system records and displays ECG data in 12 standard leads using conventional or wireless electrocardiographic modules. During a study, it automatically controls the workload according to the protocol selected by the user.
Users can also program custom study protocols. Digital signal processing, a dedicated QRS detection method, baseline-shift correction and selective averaging of sinus QRS-T complexes provide consistently high ECG recording quality by reducing baseline drift and noise. They also support accurate detection of ST-segment depression and elevation, including the generation of an "alarm" signal.
The system supports all generally accepted study protocols, and clinicians can also program custom protocols. During the study, it analyzes cardiac arrhythmias and ST-segment dynamics in real time.
During the study, the system can record and analyze ventricular late potentials (optional), heart rate variability and microvolt T-wave alternans. The complete study is stored in the database and can also be saved to CD, DVD or USB flash media.
After the study, the system automatically analyzes the acquired data and generates a text summary, a detailed narrative study report and trends showing changes in the main parameters throughout the study.
Users can manually add data that cannot be processed automatically and enter the final conclusion. In addition to automatic processing, any section of the 12-channel ECG recording can be reviewed visually and measured manually.
The study planning system lets users select an existing workload protocol or create a custom protocol.
Users can set permitted limits for changes in physiological parameters monitored during the study, as well as ST-segment depression and elevation criteria for the "alarm" signal. This allows the study program to be adapted to the individual patient or the specific purpose of the study.
