Astrocard® - SomnoSTUDIO

Hardware and software system for polysomnographic studies

The automated Astrocard® - SomnoSTUDIO polysomnography system provides high measurement accuracy, a modern level of automation and study detail, automatic detection of apnea episodes, and a clear, informative interface.

Astrocard® SomnoSTUDIO
Recording and automatic analysis of apnea, snoring, desaturation, respiratory airflow, respiratory movements, activity and body position
Exceptionally compact and lightweight wearable recorder
Clear and informative interface
Full compatibility and interoperability with the Astrocard® Holtersystem ambulatory ECG and BP monitoring system

The system allows studies to be conducted in the patient’s usual environment, followed by retrospective processing. The system can include different numbers and types of recorders.

One of the main differences between Astrocard® - SomnoSTUDIO and other solutions on the market is full compatibility with the Astrocard® Holtersystem ambulatory ECG and BP monitoring system Astrocard® Holtersystem, allowing ECG events to be correlated with other measured parameters.

The system can include two types of recorders

Screening cardiorespiratory recorder

  • 3- or 12-lead ECG recording (in conjunction with ECG recorders)
  • 2-channel respiratory effort recording (thoracic and abdominal)
  • Respiratory airflow recording using a respiratory cannula
  • Snoring recording using a respiratory cannula
  • Recording of changes in oxygen saturation (SpO2)
  • Photoplethysmogram recording
  • Body position and physical activity recording
